Himansh Kohli began his journey in the entertainment world as a radio jockey at Delhi-based Radio Mirchi. He worked there from May to July 2011 and then turned to acting. Soon after, he also made his television debut when he played the role of Raghav Oberoi in Channel V’s daily drama Humse Hai Life, which aired from 5 September 2011 to June 2012. He returned briefly for the final episode in November 2012, before fully committing to film roles.

In May 2012, Kohli was cast in his successful Bollywood debut, Yaariyan (released on 10 January 2014), directed by Divya Khosla Kumar. He played the role of Lakshya, a college student in search of love and adventure. The film was a box-office success and brought him into the limelight. After Yaariyan, Himansh appeared in several films in 2017. drama Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, romantic comedies Sweetie Weds NRI, Ranchi Diaries and Dil Jo Na Keh Saka.

In 2018, he starred in Abhi Nahi To Kabhi Nahi and has also appeared in music videos, including popular tracks such as “Oh Humsafar” and “Tera Sheher”, until 2023. In 2023, Kohli starred in the critically acclaimed short film Gehwaara, produced by Neeru Kohli.
