Amidst zero-G exercises, underwater rocket launches and flying a Cessna 172, she was appointed Mission Director of “Team Kennedy”, leading a 16-member international team to launch and safely recover a mini-rocket. At just 19 years of age, Jahnavi became the youngest participant in a two-week intensive lunar mission simulation at the Analog Astronaut Training Center (AATC) in Poland. Representing India again, she was selected for an Apollo-style geology field training expedition in the rugged terrain of Iceland. This immersive program, directed by Apollo-era veterans, helped train future astronauts for lunar missions, equipping them with skills in terrain analysis and habitat survival.
